空気の器アーティストコラボレーションシリーズ第七弾。藍師・染師BUAISOUとのアーティストシリーズです。
BUAISOU（ブアイソウ）は、徳島県を拠点に、藍の栽培から染色、仕上げまで、すべてを一貫して行っている、新世代の若き藍師・染師です。
空気の器とのコラボレーションでは藍染めと相性のいい紙をセレクトし、型抜き加工した後に藍で丁寧に染め上げています。藍染めの技法を凝らしたベタ染め、段染めは一枚一枚手染めで仕上げ、板染めは木製の板に挟んで模様を作り出しています。
紙ならではの藍染めの独特な表情とともに、3通りの個性ある藍色を立体的に楽しむことができます。

Seventh item line for airvase artist collaboration series. An artist series collaboration with indigo farmer and dyer BUAISOU.
Based in Tokushima Prefecture, BUAISOU are a group of new-generation indigo farmers and dyers who have undertaken the complete process of traditional indigo dying from cultivation through to marketing.
For this airvase collaboration, we have chosen paper that complements the properties of indigo dye and cut the paper before carefully dyeing it in indigo using three traditional techniques. For BETAZOME and DANZOME, the airvases are carefully dyed by hand. For ITAZOME, each airvase is clamped between two wood blocks, leaving a pattern on the paper.
Enjoy three unique variations of indigo dye in 3D, each with a character unique to paper.
