カーボンパイプ素地の表情を生かした、芯ホルダーのデザイン。高強度の炭素繊維素材に、同じ炭素素材の柔らかい芯が覆われている。カーボンの持つ強度と鉛筆の芯のように黒光りする表情に注目した。あたかも芯そのものを手にしているような、シンプルな表情のホルダーである。

This leadholder design brings out the esthetical and physical properties of a carbon pipe to life. Consisting of a soft graphite lead core wrapped in an ultra resistant carbon fiber sheath, we focused on bringing out the similarity between the black luster of the holder and that of the lead, as well as capitalizing on the material’s strength. A simple concept, that gives the sensation of holding a bare piece of pencil lead in one’s hand.
