全国6か所で開催される、GOOD GOODS ISSEY MIYAKE 「MOKKO」の期間限定イベントの会場構成。
一本の糸から編み上げた無縫製のニットバッグのシリーズ「MOKKO」。古くから使われる、縄や竹を網状に編んだ棒で担ぐ運搬道具「もっこ」に由来する名前がつけられている。今回フォーカス した新アイテムは、編みの組織や色の組み合わせを変化させたことにより実現したあたたかみの ある表情が特徴となっている。
ディスプレイでは、色の異なる6つの「MOKKO」から様々な形の花が飛び出し、それぞれが性格をもったキャラクターのようにふるまっているように見せた。伊勢丹新宿店の壁面ディスプレイでは、バッグの背景となる壁面にレンチキュラーシートを使って花を印刷し、見る角度が変わると花がバッグから飛び出てくるように見える仕掛けを考えた。
モニターで流れるコマ撮り動画のカクカクしたアナログな動きが、レンチキュラーシートの動きとリンクする。
2色の糸で編まれたカラフルなアイテムの特徴をグラフィック表現にも取り入れ、ホリデーシーズンにふさわしい賑やかな印象のディスプレイを目指した。

The event venue design for the limited-time event of GOOD GOODS ISSEY MIYAKE "MOKKO", to be held in 6 locations nationwide.
"MOKKO" is a series of seamless knit bags woven from a single thread. The name comes from the mokko, a carrying tool made of rope or bamboo woven into a net with a stick. The traditional Japanese tool has been used since ancient times. The new item we focused for this time is characterized by a warm expression made by changing the knitting structure and color combination.
In this display, flowers of various shapes pop out from six "MOKKOs" in different colors, and each of them gives character with its personality. For the wall display at the Isetan Shinjuku Store, flowers were printed on a lenticular sheet on the wall that serves as the bag's background, making the flowers seem to pop out from the bag when the viewing angle changes.
The choppy analog movement of the time-lapse video on the monitor links with the movement on the lenticular sheet.
We also incorporated the characteristics of the item woven with two colors of thread into the graphic expression, aiming for a vivid and lively display appropriate to the holiday season.
