裏原宿キャットストリートに新しくオープンした｢INHABITANT STORE TOKYO｣。
その店舗のためにアートワークとして二種類の亀甲紋を制作した野老朝雄と、｢トラフトコロ」というユニットを組み、インスタレーションを行った。紋様はどの辺を合わせても繋がり、さまざまな模様がつくられている。店舗の天井に広がっている模様の中から奇妙な生き物のようなシルエットを抽出し、通りに面したガラスのファサードに貼り、店舗に棲みついた生き物たち(inhabitants）として紹介する展示とした。

This flagship store, INHABITANT STORE TOKYO, of the lifestyle sports brand INHABITANT on Harajuku Cat Street was opened on the 1st of October 2009. The interior was designed Torafu, while the artwork was by Asao Tokolo. Two types of turtle-shell shapes were specially designed for this shop, infesting the floors, walls, ceiling and columns. Twelve “inhabitants” are introduced here, and they live secretly among these patterns in the cloudlike ceiling.
