me ISSEY MIYAKE / AOYAMAで実施している、「SESSION」インスタレーションの会場構成。ファインニットプリーツのトップシリーズ「SESSION」の発表に合わせて、ギャラリースペースでのインスタレーションとウィンドウディスプレイの計画が求められた。２階のインスタレーションでは、ピアノ、バイオリン、ティンパニやトランペットをイメージしたシルエットが特徴のアイテムを、支柱を五線譜にみたてたスタンドに着せて、音楽に合わせて踊っているようなシーンを表現した。音符から発想された形のバッグを色とりどりの楽器や音符とともに壁に展示し、今にも音楽が聞こえてきそうな楽し気な雰囲気をつくっている。路面のウィンドウでは、リズミカルな音楽を自由に奏でる、さまざまな楽器を描いたストレッチプリーツの踊る姿が、街ゆく人々のアイキャッチになっている。今回のシリーズの特徴である、楽器の形を模したアイテムのユニークさやリズミカルな音楽を感じられるディスプレイを考えた。

The installation plan for “SESSION” in the me ISSEY MIYAKE / Aoyama store. For the launch of the collection “SESSION,” the tops series with fine pleats, installation and window display plans were needed for the Aoyama gallery space.The installation on the second floor features items with silhouettes reminiscent of pianos, violins, timpani, which are displayed on stands resembling musical staves, expressing a scene of dancing to music. Installing bags whose shapes are inspired by musical notes, with colorful instruments and notes on the wall, we created a fun atmosphere where you can almost hear music. The dancing silhouette of stretching fine pleats installed in the window creates an eye-catching display. Dancing pleats items are printed with the image of various instruments playing rhythmic music. We planned a display so that people appreciate the distinctiveness of the collection, with unique features such as tops mimicking instrument shapes, giving the feel of rhythm and music.
