伊勢丹新宿店本館1階の「ザ・ステージ」にて期間限定で開催された、ミナ ペルホネンによる展示会のための会場構成。
今回で6回目となる本展のタイトルは「minä perhonen☆mix」。七夕のイベントとして、様々なプロダクトとのコラボレーションアイテムが展開された。
また “mix”というタイトル通り、会場中央の円形ブース壁面には同ブランドの代表的なテキスタイルパターンである「tambourine」に星柄を合わせた「HOSHITam」を纏わせた。壁面を覆う、拡大された細やかな刺繍からは、糸の動きが見て取れ、彩りと共に同ブランドの生地に対するこだわりを感じさせる。
この円形ブースに描かれた「HOSHITam」の丸い柄と呼応するように、円形の天板を連ねた陳列棚がステージへと導く。濃淡のある２色の黄色いストライプの床や、星空をイメージし紺色の壁面に散りばめた金と銀の「空気の器」など、展示会のタイトルに“mix”とあるように、華やかな要素を積み重ねながらも調和のとれた空間を目指した。

We dressed an exhibition site for a temporary exhibition by minä perhonen held at “The Stage”, located on the first floor of Isetan’s Shinjuku Main Store.
The 6th installment, themed “minä perhonen☆mix” features various products and collaborative creations as an event surrounding Tanabata Festival (Star Festival, July 7th).
As the theme suggests, a star (HOSHI in Japanese) design was "mixed" with the brand's representative "tambourine" textile pattern to produce the "HOSHITam" pattern dressing the walls of the circular booth at the center of the exhibition space. The movement of the thread can be perceived from the enlarged delicate embroidery covering the wall surfaces, allowing visitors to feel the particularities of minä perhonen's texture and coloring scheme.
The showcase made of linked round tabletops lead visitors towards the stage as if echoing the round "HOSHITam" patterns drawn on the circular booth. As in the "mix" suggested by the exhibition's theme, we endeavored to create a space balancing the harmony between various gorgeous elements, such as the floor stripes featuring two tones of yellow and the dark blue walls inlaid with gold and silver "airvases" representing the starlit sky.
