厳選したチーズを惜しみなく使ったスイーツを製造・販売する「Now on Cheese♪」。グランスタ東京内にオープンする、同ブランドの４店舗目の内装計画を手掛けた。JR東京駅構内の店舗がひしめき、人通りでにぎわう環境にある敷地には、間仕切りを建てることができないという制約があった。限られた条件の中、印象的なパッケージのグラフィックを、いかに店舗空間に取り込めるかを考えた。
メインとなるカウンターには、来客の多い駅環境にも適した耐久性と上質な質感を併せ持つ磁器タイルを使用。タイルの全面にはブランドのグラフィックをあしらった。
限りあるデザイン範囲の中で、平面的なグラフィックに質感や立体感を与え、賑やかな環境の中でもブランドの世界観が際立つ店舗を目指した。

“Now on Cheese♪” is a shop that sells sweets made from a variety of select cheeses. We designed the fourth shop of the brand, which opened in Tokyo Station City GRANSTA. The site is located in a crowded shopping district with many stores and shops. Due to this, partitions being built around the shop were restricted. Within the restriction, the shop’s interior space needed to bring out the graphic of the shop’s packages.
The porcelain tiles with elegance and texture cover the main counter, enabling excellent durability in the bustling station space. The whole surface of the tiles features the iconic graphic design of the brand.
Even with restrictions on design work, we added solidity and texture to the planar graphic and aimed to create the interior highlighting the brand in this busy environment.
