東京・青山のスパイラルにて " paper products exhibition " が開催され、会場奥のアトリウムで空気の器のインスタレーションを行った。スパイラル25周年のイメージを表現して、円（ドット）を用いた様々な色や模様の器をテーブルに並べ、アトリウムの宙には白い器の群れがゆらめき漂い、計600個にも及ぶ器が会場の空気を包みこむ。らせん状のスロープが取り巻く空間に合わせて、大きな円形テーブルを配置し、回遊するように器の様々な模様のバリエーションを楽しめる。会期中は真っ白な空気の器をキャンバスに見立てて、絵を描くワークショップも開かれ、多くの人で賑わった。

airvase installation was created in the atrium at the back of the Spiral Building event space in Aoyama, Tokyo for the Paper Products Exhibition held Sept. 11-23, 2010. With a cloud of suspended white airvases fluttering overhead and an array of the vases with diverse dotted patterns and colors arranged on a table below, the installation’s 600 airvases captured the atmosphere of the venue in an attempt to express the image of Spiral’s 25th anniversary. Visitors could enjoy the various designs as if taking a playful round-trip excursion by looking at the objects on a large round table positioned to fit in with the spiral slope that surrounds this event space. People crowded the lively workshops held during the staging of the exhibition, using pure white airvases as canvases for creating images.
