空気の器がレッドドットアワード2012のプロダクトデザイン部門において、“レッドドット ベスト オブ ザ ベスト”を受賞しました。
レッドドットデザインアワードは1955年に始まり、優れたデザインに与えられる最も国際的な賞として知られています。昨年は70カ国以上から14,000ものエントリーがあり、世界最大級のコンペティションの一つです。応募作品は世界中から集まったデザインの専門家達によって公平に審査されます。“レッドドット：ベスト オブ ザ ベスト“は”レッドドットアワード：プロダクトデザイン“の最優秀賞であり、部門の中で最も優れたプロダクトに与えられます。空気の器はドイツにあるレッドドットミュージアムで常設展示され、全ての空気の器のパッケージには”レッドドットアワード“ラベルが貼られることになります。
YELLOW×BLUEの空気の器を2010年の1月に発売してから11のバージョンがつくられ、最新のバージョンはREDxWHITE 、フランスの家具メーカーであるLigne Rosetのために特別につくられたGRADATION PATTERN とCUBE PATTERNです。

TORAFU ARCHITECTS has just received the “red dot: best of the best” award for airvase, in the product design category, red dot design award 2012.
The red dot design award began in 1955 and is one of the most internationally recognized awards for excellent design. It is one of the largest and most distinguished competitions in the world, with 14,000 entries from more than 70 countries entering the competition last year. Submitted products are judged by the red dot jury which is made up of a panel of independent design experts from around the world.
“red dot: best of the best” is the top prize in the “red dot award: product design”, and is reserved for the best products in the category. airvase will become part of the permanent exhibition in the red dot museum in Germany, and the “red dot: best of the best” label will be used on all airvase packages.
Since the launch of the first YELLOW x BLUE airvase in January 2010, eleven versions have been made, the latest versions being REDxWHITE, and GRADATION PATTERN and CUBE PATTERN which were designed exclusively for French furniture label, Ligne Roset.
